The Burnaby Steelers are pleased to announce the signing of 2008-born forward Trevor Chin.
The native of Vancouver, BC, spent the past two seasons in the BCEHL with the Greater Vancouver Canadians U17 AAA and an additional game with the U18 AAA team.
He registered 16 goals and five assists for 21 points in 34 games last season with the U17 AAA.
“Trevor is a hard-nosed player. He plays well at both ends of the ice and will certainly do a nice job of filling a hole on our roster,” said Associate Coach Aldo Bruno.
The right-shot product says, “It feels great to be a part of a new team in a new league. I haven’t been here long, but I know it’s a tight group already.”
The Burnaby Steelers would like to extend a warm welcome to Trevor and the Chin family.
The Steelers start the 2025-26 campaign in Ridge Meadows before their home opener on Sunday against Delta. Tickets are available at the gate and online.
